Can we just admit that AF is final authority on all things political, economic, audio and artisan and be done with the endless threads?

Here are the10 Franmandments:

1) Obama and the Dems lie about everything and distort the accomplishments of Bush etal who will be remembered as the greatest President of all time.
2) There are no poor or disadvantaged people in the US, only those traitors trying to raise AF's taxes.
3) Everything published by non-partisan groups like the Heritage Foundation, Redstate, AEI etc. is beyond reproach and any claim otherwise is therefore un-American and ill informed.
4) Trickle-down is the rich man's gift to the poor man.
5) I personally recorded Moses' speech on the Mount and most of the original psalms and as payment I was given bionic ears by God.
6) My authors can beat up your authors.
7) Al Qaeda Iraq is the biggest challenge to our freedom.
8) Afghanistan is going our way.
9) Kiton is completely handmade and they would never resort to sullying themselves by overzealous "marketing" known in most cultures as lying.

and most importantly...

10) His experience and knowledge is always more qualified than yours.

All praise the Fran.

I just feel like he's one of those strange guys in the subway that always tries to get me to take a stress test and buy that book that tom cruise really likes.

My impression is he's like a Karl Marx of capitalism - all good in theory and argued from a consistent and logical position, but I wouldn't want to live in a state run along AFian principles.

^I'm glad these Franmandments were finally put into writing... just always thinking them to myself every time Fran posts a new thread in CE was getting to be a real chore to remember in their correct order.

F almost always stays civil. He is far more patient and civil than 99.9999% of us here.

I think The Fran is actually the creation of a left wing think tank trying to damange the image of Republicans. Edit: I'm just kidding. He seems like a good guy.

He IS very civil; but then, if you review no. 10 of the Franmandments, you'll see that he has no need NOT to be civil. One generally becomes angry when feeling cornered or threatened... and no. 10 precludes such from happening.

I think that it just seems that way because his powers to frustrate reason and tire out goodwill outweigh those of 99.999999% of us here.

I don't mind the The Fran or Piobare or Montecristo #4...
But they're all in hypermode re: the upcoming election. There's going to be a thread about every Obama/Biden gaffe, real or imagined, from now until we have a new President. Also likely: a thread a day about an issue that McCain needs to deal with to comfort "The Base".

Dios mio. I think I might just stay clear of the CESSpool until this stuff has blown through. It's bad for my blood pressure.

Nah he gets frustrated by the lack of moderation here and the strong left-wing bias.
