Hair Product for Wet/Shiny/Oily Hold&Cohesion? Not Hard/Dry Like Most Gels...

Hello!

I don't know much about hair products, haven't used anything for a while, and even then I'm only familiar with a very small selection of products.

Not sure if this will result in a look I'll want to keep, instead I just want to experiment. Any suggestions? Is this the sort of thing that pomade does? I've got brilliantine and tried it - it's great, except that it doesn't hold, it's too loose, so the 'do is always slipping and sliding and going messy in slight gusts.

Clueless!

Thanks for your time and your help.

Hey,

Thanks for the suggestions. Picked up some Crew "Classic Wax," didn't offer enough cohesion or hold. Was that the sort of thing you meant?

I got this stuff called "surf head", it's pretty cheap but holds my hair in place okay, and doesn't feel sticky and gross like lots of those other gluey products. My hair is really opinionated, so it's good to find something that works without making it feel disgusting.

Depends on whether you have long or short hair - wax is no good for longer hair...not sure what is though!??
