There are many books about it. Google it, or wiki it and get a quick and dirty defn. With discipline, great gains can be achieved. What's your purpose? Prolonged sexual enjoyment? Health building in the tradition of taoists( The art of the Bed chamber, etc.)? It's legit.

You needn't be disturbed, although it's your prerogative. The Deacon was/is Deacon Jones and I ID more closely with that image than the church deacon. Further, I dress as sharp as most deacons in the predominantly Black churches and my Dad nicknamed me thusly for that reason and my serious mien. (too much info?)

My wife is quite appreciative of my early interest in Taoist and Buddhist health promoting techniques. Proficiency has paid many dividends. Many of the taoist techniques mirror Tantric practices. It's ALL GOOD!

Indeed. I've dabbled in it and quite enjoyed it.

Oddly enough, many women aren't patient enough to want to indulge in it!

I read up plenty about it but never met or stayed with anyone long enough to actually get down on it. Some of the Taoist techniques are fantatsic though, if you're able to really give them the they need.

I hope I understand the question but here's some info that might be helpful to those who are interested.

When I posed a similar question to a Taoist master, he strongly advised against holding back in an attempt to retain your ejaculate once you felt it coming. He said that once the process of coming had started that it would be unhealthy to not shoot. Dead sperm in your tubes is not good. The main concept is to practice the methods such that you can delay and eventually not ejaculate or even feel like you would while having sexual intercourse but instead absorb the yin essence of your female companion through your spongy head. The old Taoists used to be so proficient as to virtually wear out a brothel of young women while never ejaculating. This doesn't mean they didn't orgasm as the act of orgasm in it's purest sense is energetic. This might all sound like bullshit to most of you but with enough practice with a willing woman you can and will reach a level whereby you can come both by ejaculation and OR the warm from head to toe, tingly seeing stars, non ejaculating orgasm. The latter is actually rejuvenating, energy building and euphoric with no nap needed as opposed to enervating and draining(and fun too!) and sleep inducing. It is well worth the practice. Woody Harrelson is into it as is Sting and Trudy Styler.

I think that its a onesided misinterpretation of the Tantric arts (furthered by Western writers like Avalon/Wooderoffe) that they exclusively deal with sex; IMO it is more about physiology, and weaving, i.e. making connections that were not there before (also cf. Sufi, even in a poetic sense)... I like the Tantric school that deals with the refinement of so called kalas (this word means both time and essence of women; see the goddess Kali) generated by suvasini (the sweet smelling girls), and the lunar rites of the kamakala and the madhyamaka. Im also somehow affiliated with the grave-yard dwelling Aghora-sect who often subscribe to the five Ms or the viparita karani (inverted practice of transcendence by breaking all social etc taboos and thereby experiencing the widest spectrum of illusion= maya).
