New JJ Abrams TV show "Fringe" - Page 7

Fringe has been on the chopping block since the middle of last season. It keeps its slot mostly because Fox probably couldn't find anything better to be in the same timeslot and get the 1.0 rating or whatever it draws now. It is a Friday slot after all and I read somewhere that the producers (is it WB?) want to do enough shows even at a discount so there's enough volume to syndicate it handsomely.

Been following the show since Season 1.. started off very strong, lost its appeal after season 2. Things just get out of hand and the story feels like its at a standstill. There are plot holes left around everywhere, its pretty annoying. Though I still watch and sorta enjoy, I wish they'd focus more on completing and addressing some plot lines they've completely left behind or haven't explored.

It's pretty much my favourite show currently airing. I will be devastated if it ends up getting cancelled.

Good episode this week although it didn't have much to do with the story line.

Jaskia is a friend, so I was really happy to see Astrid get some shine, but I didn't think it was a particualrly good episode.

That was in reference to last week. This week kind of blew, but I always enjoy her character.

Something I don't understand - how did the watchers just now figure out that Peter was back when they can see everything and he's already been back in the show timeline for weeks??

That is perhaps part of the bigger plot for this season, RamBRO!

probably because he isn't supposed to exist there so without actually seeing him, there was no reason they'd be looking for him. november is the most recurring one and he knew about peter/is hiding shit from the other ones.

this show is so fucking weird.

Yeah that's kind of the point, he's an anomaly they can't account for which apparently is problematic - whether just for them, or for the universe, is unclear. It's also unclear to me why exactly Peter needed to be retroactively erased from existence. It would kind of make sense if the timeline was changed so the Walters never had a son at all - i.e. Walter never went to the other side to save sick Peter, thereby never creating soft spots and instabilities in the two universes, thereby never setting off the chain of events which would lead to the end of the world. But that's not the case, and there clearly are still soft spots.

All I can say is, I want more Jones, that guy is awesome. Not as much of a fan of Nina as a villain.

You could see it coming but it was still cool.

Man, this fucking show is lame. You bitches got me to start watching it. Made it to ep4

Great idea, great large scale plot but shit execution. Stupid jokes. Over the top scientific theories. That doctor is a clown.

Fucking X Files meets CSI.
