New JJ Abrams TV show "Fringe" - Page 11

So.....uh.....it's back on.

Observers are dicks. Walter is a fantastic actor. Pacey's daughter is hot.

That's all I got. I've made it this far so I guess I'll keep going. I hope they have a good finish.

A good episode this week. I'm liking the way they're handling it so far. Walter had some great lines in this one:

"Yahtzee!"

"Criterion Collection forgive me..."

You'd think considering how high tech the observers are the cities wouldn't look so.... apocalyptic.

anyone still watching? last episode was pretty intense.

I am but I can't believe these motherfuckers have already taken a mid-season break. The viewing experience suffers greatly when they pull that shit and makes me feel like its's on season 11. I can't remember shit from a couple years ago. I think the finale has been slated for jan 18.

Uh, nevermind. There was a week off and ,y panties bunched. Didn't notice it recorded on 11/2. There's a break from 11/16-12/7 then another from 12/21-1/11. My biological clock will have me on season 23 by then.

Prediction: Peter will be like Neo in the Matrix now that he has the tech and single handedly stop all the observers.

I think its more headed towards Peter being the first / original observer..

That was my thought as well. Which will suck, as we will end up with another plot line that's all about Peter...

so lame that they're ending it this way. everything's so telegraphed now.

eh, I wouldn't be so sure...

Also, as far as the 'first observer' thing I'm not 100% sure now after the preview of the next episode... the "x amount of time before the changes become permanent" line makes me think its split between -

-tech stays, he becomes more and more distant and more towards him as the 1st observer

-or, he beats winmark in the next episode and then walter removes the tech before it can't be undone and he goes back to normal Peter without the extra powers and with human emotions... and then the focus of the show goes more heavily onto Walter not turning into the man he was before he had the parts of his brain removed.

I don't think it'll lead to Peter being the first observer seeing how they're supposed to be from the 27th century. Don't see how they can explain the few hundred years in between.

Also, my memory of last season is fuzzy but what happened with the whole alternative universe and William Bell attempting to destroy the world plot? How did Bell end up in amber with Walter and the gang?

This last series has been insanely good. I was apprehensive at first having the final episodes in the future, but they have done an excellent job of keeping everything moving full speed.
