usc not only won on the field, they had a better band, better cheerleaders, and a better horse. (don't get me started on that horse.)
They've always had the best band....and cheerleaders, heh. koji

Ugh.  What an awful game.  USC is clearly the better team -- and the best team in the country -- but Oklahoma seemed completely frazzled after Bradley had the genius thought that he could pick up a punt at his own 3 and run through the entire USC team without blockers.  I also underestimated how good the USC run defense was and how bad the Oklahoma pass defense was. With apologies to Matt Leinart, who made some very nice throws, the MVP of the game is Norm Chow.  He found the weaknesses in the Oklahoma secondary and went after them again and again.  Many of the TDs resulted from clear mismatches.  Why Chow doesn't have a head coaching job right now is one of the great mysteries of life.  I think it's just another example of an Asian brutha being kept down by The Man.

If I were a NFL team looking for an offensive coordinator (and there are quite a few, including the Pats, Ravens, Jags, perhaps even the Vikes) I'd take a long look at Chow... Imagine how good a team they would have been with Mike Williams as well...

Fleetwood Mac's "Tusk" comes to mind, and not for the usual reasons.

I am willing to bet that cheerleaders is one area that Auburn (or any school in the SEC for that matter) would whup USC.  The hotties grow on trees down South.

Being from the south I would like to agree, but the USC cheerleaders go one up over all of the others...the Chester Award...though the sweeties in the south are true belles, they don't have the same ring as the Trojan Hosses. -vs-
