So true. Omar was almost an urban legend, but in the end he was human like us all. One of the things that made the Wire great was how it should innercity cycles. How negative things get passed from parent to child, old to young. Kenard popping Omar showed how Omar became a part of the cycle, just like when he shot the dude when he was a boy in IIRC season 5.
