Yes, that is made by Hermes for HKJC
What I'm wondering...Did Hermes just do the one run, or have there been a number of re-issues over the years? If so, I wonder if there's a way to determine which tie is from which run. You can see where I'm going with this... If the tie I just sold was manufactured years ago, and if there have been more production runs of the same pattern in the years since... Doesn't that inherently mean that this tie is more valuable/collectable than more recently produced ties? Is the serial number on the tie different for every single tie? Or is the same number assigned to every tie in that series? Or in just that particular run? A more direct way of asking the question...The serial number on this tie is 7722 OA. Are there any other ties in the world with this number? Is the number only meaningful when used in conjunction with the tie's name? (The Hong Kong Jockey Club). I'm just trying to determine if there could be a reason why this particular tie may in fact be more valuable, than one of the ties that could have been purchased today for a bit less (assuming one was a member of the club).
