It's basically lower quality build than either Lexus or BMW yet it is sold at a great premium. Boo.
I'm still a fan, regardless. No experience with Lexus, but BMW lost me as a customer a few years back, even though I give them credit for making fine autos.

Wow, never knew you could be driven around in any of those cars. Way to list your very unimpressive list of cars you dont have anymore.

Yep - thats correct.

I've been in the back of the new S on airport pick ups on during trips etc. and it is pretty special. For some reason I still prefer my current one, I think I like the understatement of it.

Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud - beautiful car, lovely wafty ride. I still regret selling my '66 Silver Shadow, with similar qualities but is more to drive than be driven in.

Ironically, today I bought a Smart.

It's still being prepped by the dealer. I'm picking it up at 10 a.m. Monday, so I should have pics by Tuesday at the latest.

Here are a few quick pictures. I've had the car 2 hours, so I'll wait a bit before posting my impressions. Two people have already commented that they'd be scared to drive something this small. Visually, it strongly resembles a front-load washing machine to me. I bought it with the intention of swapping the panels for black ones, to match my M Coupe, so I'm not fussed about the color. The wheels have GOT to go, though.

I agree, and while you're at it, get rid of the engine, the crankshaft, the breaks... buy a range rover

epb, thanks for the pics. Looks well suited for daily commutes, especially in city traffic.
