Plymouth Sloe Gin

Has anyone here had this? I've wanted to get a bottle, but apparently production was limited and my standard liquor stores don't have it.

I haven't, though it would be a good addition to any liquor cabinet. Seems everyone just uses cherry brandy now, but that's sort of like subbing blue curacao for parfait amour. Binny's has it. https://www.binnys.com/search/spirit...h%20sloe%20gin

I will have to try that, I think Plymouth has a great quality to price ratio.

I have a bottle, you can find it at Binny's or Sam's in the Chicago area. Its the real deal, gin flavored with Sloe berries, not that sugary crap made by Dekuyper etc. I made Sloe Gin Fizzes the other night, they were really good, you can see why Sloe Gin was such a favorite years ago.

I tried it when I was in New York a few months ago. Terrific. It still is not available in Texas. http://forums.egullet.org/index.php?showtopic=106139
