140 pound lost, should I keep going or do I look ok - Page 4

I wouldn't try to gain weight or lose weight. I would just do lots of cardio, eat well (as I'm sure you are doing), and also lift a lot. Whether or not you lose pounds or gain pounds will depend on a lot of factors, but it will certainly make you look even better.

congrats man, you don't really look like a W36 on that pic though. I would just start going to the gym now and later you can get yourself dry, your body will look so much better and you'll get in to a W34 or whatever your goal is.

To the best of my knowledge my shoe size has not changed, I have wide flat feet. Last time measured at New Balance they said I was 11.5 - 12 EEEE my last sneaker purchase (December) was a pair of Asics cross trainers sized 12 4E and they seem to fit fine.

My fingers on the other hand have changed dramatically, I'm not married, but I did occasionally like to wear a silver ring or two, the one I used to wear on my ring finger is even to big for my thumb now.

Firstly, add me to the chorus of 'wow! well done!' - truly an incredible effort. Basically, ya I would agree that 36 inch waist remains a size or two bigger than ideal for a 5'9 guy....so keep it up, and would agree that the time has come to start working on toning it all up as well.

I'm 5' 9" I was just wondering if I should lose anymore or if I'm at a good weight. I've had conflicting answers from friends and family, some say I'm fine and others say I'm too skinny, yet my doctor says I'm still over weight. I also started another thread for some style advice now that I've lost some weight, and want to start dating again. Right now I'm in-between a 34" and 36" waist, the 36" I try on are baggy and the 34" are kind of tight in the waist.

First Pic (beach pic) I was 310 pounds, 50" waist, and the other pic I'm 174 36" waist Added third pic with better fitting clothes 34" Ralph Lauren jeans.

Check the BMI (body mass Index) I think 170 for 5'9 lil over normal. 150-160 would promise you few more years of your life.

Your doctor is right. Keep going.

wow, dropping anything over 10 lbs takes dicipline in my book. I think you'll be better off if you go ahead and drop an additional 10-15 or whatever it takes to get you to a 34 waist. I was a 36 a while back and it was rare to find jeans that size, it usually stopped at 34 and I had to squeeze in and forgo the shirt tuck.

Bananna Republic is the best place I can think of for extensive sizes for big and tall men and the cloths actually look good.
