I wore my dark, chocolate brown suede sportcoat yesterday and noticed that areas on the jacket had started to "pill". By this I mean that short (quarter inch at best) "hairs" have started to pop up from the surface. Is there anyway to combat this problem and prevent this in the future? For the most part, it is only occuring on the left sleeve (although there are a few on the front / side near the pocket). I'm not sure why this is, although I've speculated that it is the arm which faces out into the closet. I suppose it's also the arm that I rest on the interior car door as I drive as well. Could either cause this problem? The rest of the jacket is still in perfect shape. TIA.
