I think I need to buy some Blanton's again. The last time I tried it was a year or so ago. I never understood why so many people absolutely love it while others detest it.

I've never heard of people detesting it. Its alright, pretty light though.

thanks for the wonderful insight. i am so much more informed now. i bought a bottle of eagle rare 10 (couldn't find the 17). very good. pretty inexpensive as well.

I don't detest it, but I find it's flavor a little lifeless, even bland. I have a glass from time to time to see if my mind has changed, but it never does.
