Espadrilles - Page 2

I wear them often but I consider them disposable and would never spend more than $50 a pair.

I think espadrilles are becoming more and more fashionable. They could be the next big thing this summer. There are lots of chic boutiques out there selling these straw soled shoes. Just Google the word "espadrilles" and you will find thousands of sites.

Only Espadrilles sell them. Office sells them. Wikipedia talk about them. The public are asking about them!

I remember they used to be around in the 80s. I had a few pairs back then and i'm gona get a few pairs now!

This is one of those things I just don't get.

Espadrilles look like the European version of Van slipons.

WANT.

I used to have a pair back in the late 80's. They had a navy and white wide stripe. They were fun to wear.

I have a pair from toms shoes and they are very comfortable. I like how they bang on about being vegan when in fact my espadrilles have leather insoles.

On a low budget, they're functional. Might seem rather 'delectable' and poncey but for a few bucks why bother arguing. Massive range of colours and they're good in the summer. The Spanish workers wear them. I don't think they're homosexuals.

Interesting first post. You wouldn't happen to have anything to do with the UK store you are shilling for, do you?

Very Miami Vice. I think just about everyone had a pair or boat shoes (Top Siders) when that show was on.

They should be kept on the shelf next to the Belgian Shoes.

I also wore them back in the late 80's. Comfortable in Summer, but you only make the mistake of getting them wet once.

I'm not a fan.

You know, I kind of like the BS seersucker ones.

Didn't iammatt have a long thread about espadrilles a while back?
