But lets look at his other numbers. He has a career passer rating of 73.3 He's played in a total of seven games in his three years in the NFL, and started NONE. He has one TD and one INT. He has, in his career a total of 59 pass attempts. (which means that nearly half of them came in that Dallas game).
He has somehow in his meager playing time, been sacked nine times for minus seventy yards, managed to INJURE his foot and sit out most of the season in 06, lose all three of his fumbles, and pass for a staggeringly poor 5.6 yards per pass.

In my opinion its a little early to say he'll even be an AVERAGE NFL QB. He certainly isn't as durable as Favre, so even if he's a GOOD NFL QB, he will likely not start 200+ consecutive games... So then, you have to ask yourself, how good is Aaron Roger's backup?

blah, blah, blah.

Packers will finish with a better record than the seabags and the jets.

Speculating that perhaps the pressure is the only thing that forces him to make a decision, I made a suggestion that I believe should be followed at the end of this coming season: right at the end of the last game of the season, give him two legally binding pieces of paper to sign. One forces him to retire, the other keeps him on for another season. He gets behind the O-line, the defense sends all its pass rushers at him, and he's told that he has to sign one of the papers before he's sacked. This would work, right?

There's a pretty good chance he throws a pick.

Regular season record? (not that I especially like GB's chances of making the playoffs with Rogers) But that sounds like a friendly wager type of situation.

Regular season of course. And this does sound like a friendly wager. But before wagering, consider the division we're in: Momma Bear and Poppa Bear were getting divorced. In the custody hearing, the judge looked down and asked Baby Bear, "So Baby Bear, I have to give custody to one of your parents. Who do you want to live with? Do you want to live with Poppa Bear?" "Oh, no!" said Baby Bear, "I don't want to live with Poppa Bear, he beats me." "Well then, you should live with Momma Bear," answered the judge. "Oh, no!" Baby bear replied, "I don't want to live with Momma Bear. She beats me too." "Well then, Baby Bear, who do you want to live with?" And Baby Bear said, "I want to live with the Chicago Bears. They don't beat anybody!" Green Bay has already shown that they have enough beef on the d-line to slow down AP in Minnesota and teh Lions. Oh, teh Lions!

He is infinitely better than their current QB options. It will allow the Jets to throw the ball more than 5 yards down-field.

I predict something between 9-7 and 11-5 for the Jets, and they might squeak into the playoffs. And as the Giants showed last year, once you're in, anything can happen (especially with a good QB).

Also, Aaron Rodgers is going to be a good QB. He played well against the Cowboys last year in a big game.

He had 7.5 YPA passing that year. and he was intercepted 13 times. Those are Matt Hasselbeck-like numbers. I AM glad that I didn't make any bets on Packers v Seahawks that year though.
