FS: NWT Caruso Sartoria Parma suit - Medium gray EU54

As many of you are aware, Caruso suits are well regarded by this forum and of very nice quality. Antirabbit in particular has been an avid cheerleader For those not familiar, they are the makers of the Ralph Lauren Black Label (RLBL) suits. It is generally held that the Sartoria Parma line is constructed to a higher standard of quality than even RLBL!

For more info, here is a fairly recent discussion of Caruso: http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=55494

I have an EU size 54 in charcoal gray for sale in new with tags (NWT) condition. In my opinion it fits like a relatively trim US 44R - in other words there's no way my fat ass was going to fit into it.... The cut is very flattering and would be an excellent business suit as well as great for after-hours.

Price = $550 shipped within the CONUS and I accept Paypal exclusively.

I will be taking pictures and posting measurements later on tonight so please stay tuned!

Please feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer them by tonight.

Additional details:

- Fully canvassed
- Little to no shoulder padding
- 100% wool
- 2 button
- side vent
- flat front pants
- functional buttonholes
- now that I see it in the daylight, this is definitely charcoal gray. Even better!

Measurements:

Jacket:
Chest - 45"
Shoulders - 19"
Sleeves - 26.5"
Length - 32.5" from top of collar

Pants:
Waist - 38" with 2" to let out
Inseam - 37" unfinished

Measurements are accurate to within a reasonable tolerance... a quarter inch or so.

It appears to be fully lined - how would I know for sure?

As promised, here are the pictures:

My apologies for the subpar photography and the dirty carpet I hope to hit the big time one day as a seller here and purchase a better camera and hardwood floors...

I can't believe this hasn't sold yet - do you guys need any additional info to help you make the decision?

Welcome to selling on the B&S forum, where everybody loves your clothes, but doesn't actually buy them.

people here are pretty fickle.. its alot easer to say "if this was in size xx you would have a pm in your box right now" than to actually send a paypal payment

One of my employees just bought one of the sister suits of this.
I had a chance to see it in person the other day.

IT IS KICK ASS. Extremely well made, with tons of handwork, and the fabric is quite versatile in the sense that it is lux but will hold up to a lot.
Also, the cut is quite nice, he has to have it let out a bit due to his shape, but on part of the construction that is quite impressive is the shoulders.
I would say they are nearly absent of padding, but with some roping that makes the chest stand out in a good way.
Hey, I feel your pain man!

I often do find a lot things that I really, really like posted on B&S forum at great prices but mostly aren't my size.

Really, I wish this was a 52R, then I would have bought the suit from you without any hesitation!

Thanks for the positive review, it's good to hear that from someone who has seen the suit in action. Believe me, if I weighed 15-20 pounds less this wouldn't be for sale, I hate to sell it!

is the sleeve lenth really 24"? assuming it is and has been altered to get there, how much additional material is there, assuming there are not working buttonholes

I apologize if my method for measuring sleeve length was incorrect, is there some sort of forum convention? Measured from the bottom of the armpit the sleeve length is 18.5", while measured from the top of the shoulder (at the seam) the length is 26.5". I was attempting to measure down the middle of the sleeve which does seem confusing now that I think of it.... And the buttonholes are functional BTW. This suit is NWT and has not been altered in any way.

Thanks for inquiring!

Just my size...I own a navy 54R Caruso and can attest to it fitting me beautifully.

If only I hadn't purchased that darn Sartorio hopsack blazer, I'd be all over this suit...
