Monty, that's awesome! :)

I love specs, myself, and own several pairs... picked up these vintage Florsheim Royal Imperial V-cleat double sole 1950s specs, but unfortunately they were too narrow (10.5C) so I sold them on. Beautiful shoes, though.

I recently got a pair of Carmina 922 snuff suede/tan spectators. I think they look great and should be pretty wearable as far as spectators go. I'm very pleased with them.

I purchased the same pair a couple of months ago, I really like them as well.

Congrats.

Clean 'em up + add some trees, THEN take the pics. Although I like 'em and know how nice they are, many will be swayed by the pics of un-cared for shoes.

Those look great. Are these CT by Loake? How is the leather quality?

I've typed so many times before and will type again: Edward Green's lasts and proportions are astounding. There's so much win going on that it's hard to describe in other terms. Harmony and proportion, fit and finish, EG has it all.

No idea who makes them. Haven't had them very long, but leather quality seems good.

How's the sizing? I've been watching these for months and just pulled the trigger on a pair half a size smaller than what I normally wear. Hoping they're not going to be as large as some people say they are.

I read some where they are made by Barker.
