Can anyone help me get six pack abs????

Thread Starter
Hi Everyone, I have been trying these for months and months but it doesn't help me anymore. I am talking about six pack abs that I am trying to get. I joined a gym for this and the trainer told me that I would get them...but NOOOO!! That did not help me and later on I have tried a few tips that I have been suggested by my friends but that also was of no use (the whole thing helped the abs a little...but not as I wanted). So, now can anyone suggest me any ways or ideas to get them

Thanks for any help!!!

You should probably try posting on an exercise/bodybuilding-related forum for best results.

Try virgin sacrifice, always effective.

do some cardio in the morning before breakfast, a few miles of running will do and take it easy on the candy bars.

http://stronglifts.com/the-reverse-c...-six-pack-abs/ And remember, you can do a million crunches a day but you won't get anywhere unless you lose weight. Everyone has abs...they are just hidden under (some) fat.

Maybe I will pin an abs thread. We seem to go through this a lot.... If anyone has a favorite on the topic, post a link and I'll do it.

Some men are just not going to get six-packs no matter what. A lot of it has to do with how much subcutaneous body fat you naturally store. When I was at my peak, my abs were strong as hell. I could do 3x12 situps holding a 70-pound dumbbell behind my head. No six-pack. Again, one time I went on a weight loss regimen. Ate very little, ran about 10 miles every evening and still trained hard with weights. I knocked my weight down from 230 to 176 (at a height of 6'3"), my waist from 36" to 28.5". Still no six-pack. And don't blame bad posture. I have always had a ramrod straight carriage.

Since my bf is naturally below 6%, my abs are just begging to show. I decided to give the p90x "Ab Ripper" workout a shot Saturday night....It sure as hell ripped my ass up that's for sure, and humbled me more than a little bit. I probably did 3 minutes of the 15 minute workout, and I can barely walk this morning, Monday. Might want to check that out.
