they are a division/company within slowear, which owns incotex

can anyone say if their shirts are as good as incotex's pants?

I have a couple of shirts. They're slim-fitting, in good fabrics and reasonably well-made, though to my mind suited to a casual no-tie look. A good match for Incotex chino linos.

I can't find a "Made in Italy" label anywhere on my shirts: Perhaps shirts sold in your part of the world will name the place of manufacture.

I like all the Slowear brands (Montedoro raincoats and Zanone knitwear/polos are the others). It's a nice look - but expensive at full price, especially for products made outside Italy.

+1

I have one Glanshirt and have tried several at the Slowear Milan boutique. They're casual shirts that go well with cotton and chino lino Incotex pants, but they are not the best choice for business attire. I like Glanshirt as casual shirts and really like Zanone for polos and wool sweaters.

What did you think of the Slowear boutique, Montesquieu? I haven't been, but thought about paying a visit when I go to Milan later in the year.

The boutique has a nice collection of Incotex cotton pants and shorts (in summer), Zanone knit shirts and sweaters, and Glanshirt shirts. It does not stock wool Incotex and had only one chino lino when I last visited; if you want these, you would need to order ahead of time, which is not hard to do if you know your size since Incotex's consumer order book contains only a few fabrics, colors, and styles.

Best time to visit is during sale season (July and January) when everything is 30% off. They still had good depth in sizes during sale season. Shop personnel speak English, can process duty free, and turn around pant alterations in two days. If you plan to visit, I suggest going to the Slowear website and requesting a catalog ahead of time so that you get a sense for styles and colors.

After three visits, the boutique has become my favorite place to buy cotton pants, wool sweaters, and polo shirts.
