Just thought it would be fun to see how SF has influenced others.

I didn't wear knit ties before visiting SF - now I have 3.

Didn't wear knit ties before F neither, i have 3 as well.

Didn't wear OCBDs

Didn't own or know of Aldens(1) or Allen Edmonds(3)

Wore baggy jeans/baggy clothes(still do because i have't bought enough to completly phase out old wardrobe)

That's all i can think of right now

The last time before Styleforum that I wore a knit tie was when I was 6.

Now I also have three.

I also had no goodyear welted shoes- only blaked Italian. Hell, I didn't even know what a goodyear welt was before SF.

I had some pocketsquares that I wore occasionally. Now I wear them every day.

Colorful socks are new to me as well. I used to be afraid of not being taken seriously if I wore them. Now I just don't care!

RLPL, Barbera, EG, JL, G&G,Brioni,C&J, T&A (no not that kind), MTM, and now my first bespoke suit - I hope the bar doesn't get much higher as I will need to add a second career.

I'm adding slowly and prudently, and have been enjoying the process - thanks to all the folks around here who have expanded my horizons, albeit with contracting my wallet.

I just learned the other day that people hear wear pocket squares all of the time. I need to step up on the gas.

SF opened my eyes to fine English footwear, ties and braces, how a suit should fit, the finer points of its construction and hand stitched Italian shirts.
