However I may eat cheese and seafood. I can also eat meat but only if it's free range witht he animals natural diet. This is harder than I thought.
Finding a resturant or BBQ joint thats offers free range is hard in DC and surprisingly in NYC too.

Any suggestions on places I may go to find delicious yummy free range natural feed red meat??

The following response is part joking, part serious:

Stop being a pussy and stand up for your right to be a man. Before you know it you'll be sitting while you pee.

I have a hard time trusting vegetarians. Something about them is off. But that's a personal issue of mine.

That said, you can either do what she wants, or you can tell her, "I respect your choice of food and allow you to eat it freely, please respect mine."

Also, think about the situation in reverse. What would she do if you told her that she is not allowed to be a vegetarian and she must eat meat?

LOL.
I agree and normally if someone wrote the same thread I would do the same. However I do enjoy food and the purist yummiest food (in my opinion) is natural. I am up for it. I found a BBQ in NYC that follows the rules I am just asking for more place.
She watched this show on TV and they showed all the inhumane ways of killing farm animals and it freaked her out so she asked me to support her and her beliefs. I dont think it's that bad.
I can still throw down a rack of ribs or 2

Hey, I saw a documentary like that in High School, put me off meat for about a month. Then I got over it.

But if you're ok with it, then by all means, enjoy!

Haha my GF is also a vegetarian+seafood eater. She doesn't force me to eat in any particular way, however I naturally tend to order something we can at least both try. I usually will avoid red meat when we dine together.

To answer your question, most restaurants will use pretty atrocious quality red meat and chicken, no harm in not eating it. Allowing seafood and dairy opens up a ton of options and I barely miss beef and chicken.

When I do want beef or chicken, I would recommend just going out and getting a fatty steak from your butcher and grill it at home, once you finish that you will not want red meat for at least a week.

If I really like the girl and she is really really hot I can see myself restricting my meat intake. But I would require her to accept my drinking habits and do all (or the vast majority) of the cooking.

Good bbq in NYC so far, has been an oxymoron. (strange that you can get any other type of cuisine done fantastically well, but not bbq).

I believe there is a Jeeves and Wooster story about this (I can't remember if I read the story, saw the episode or both).

Mauro - Any issues I may have with the reason for your decision aside, a few restaurants in DC that may fit the bill: Cashion's in Adams Morgan, Cafe Saint-Ex on U St and Nora in Dupont. They all have free-range and/or organic chicken. Nora also has grass-fed steaks. It's not easy to eat organic/natural in restaurants. I much prefer grass-fed, both for taste and health reasons. I mail order steaks and cook them at home. You can also buy grass-fed at some Whole Foods (including the one in Logan), but it's expensive.
