Quality is so good and the burgundy and navy are so beautiful.

I'm waiting for the navy unlined version to come in since the current ones are a bit thick around the ankle.

The burgundy ones are amazing, would get over brown all day every day.

Also they look much better in person than those pics which seem to distort the true shape of them.

wow these are really great looking shoes. I have a pair by spago, and they were so uncomfortable. They literally wore holes in the back of my foot and I had to wear flip flops for a week.

I'm going to wear them with dark jeans so I don't know if navy will fly. Do they fit true to size? Like size 11.5 for a 11.5 inch foot. Last time I bought a pair of shoes, somehow I needed a 10.5...

It's supposed to take a long time if you order from the company website?

I bought a pair about 5 weeks ago from the website. They basically don't keep any stock on hand and make each pair once you order them so it is supposed to take about 6 weeks.

I'm anxiously awaiting mine (brown w/ white sole). I was thinking about the navy ones but they are lined so I decided to pass.

I just got a pair of the black bluchers from South Willard, and man these are by far the nicest shoes for $125 I have ever seen. Personally I like the look of the bluchers more than the boat shoes, they have brown ones on south willard now in addition to the blacks...

wearing mine now
love them, have worn them all summer
got them in the brown from o'connells in an 11, sort of wishing i'd got a 10.5 (though i never wear that size in any shoe except my old johnston + murphy boat shoes). the quoddy's have stretched out a little bit all over, but they look awesome with shorts and the quality is ... incredible.

How do Quoddy Boat Shoes and Bluchers fit? true to size? Or would you recommending going down 1/2 to account for stretching?

I figure if I'm a 10US in Clarks Desert Boots (which is a 1/2 size down from my true size), I should go for a 10US in the Quoddy's too...

Any thoughts?

are bluchers considered boats shoes in the sense that you could get them wet?

The bluchers have a different type of sole (they call it a camp sole I think?) that do not have the slits in the bottom of them for water dispersal. It doesn't mean they can't get wet though.
