They were already swamped as was so it only made sense since they were underpriced.

This will curtail demand and still make them more money can't say that I blame them.

South Willard's already upped the prices on the stock they already have. They have the ring boots in brown now as well.

Interesting development. I hope they keep their quality high with the additional scale. Maybe this will actually allow web orders at their own website to be fulfilled in a timely manner.

+1, but I'm still disappointed.

They were closer to $140 when I was first wanting to buy them. Now I"ll just have to go with a cheaper alternative.

Makes me really glad I grabbed the navy boat shoes from South Willard when I did. There prices did always seem awfully low to me for what you got, I can't really say I'm surprised by a price increase.

Oh I know.
I got the burgundy boat shoes about two weeks before the price hike.
I dont know if i would have jumped on the quoddy band wagon if the entry fee was as high as it is now, but now that ive seen the quality and realized that they are worth what they now charge, i think ill get some more.

Blows me away- I went to transfer $ to paypal to buy the bluchers- the day it cleared was the day South Willard pushed the price up 50%. I haven't pulled the trigger- just to much to bear. 12 bloody hours was all I needed.

these look similar... I've been thinking about getting the quoddy hi-top deck boot, or the rogues gallery ones, but they are both like $300.. the black ones at albam at like a bit over $200.. I might buy. Just don't know what size I should get. They said their sizes are in UK... I wear a 42 in cps http://www.albamclothing.com/product.aspx?productid=107

just found a promo code for albam through some extensive searching.. enter "casuals" extra 10% off their sale. Once you get on the add cart of an item, it will show a new discounted price. Then you can add the promo code and get another discount. Saved me about $100 total
