I just got these. They are great but its my first time with the chrompak leather sole. Its much harder than I expected and I prefer a more flexible sole.

Anyone have experience in using the Quoddy Organic Waterproofer? Any good?

I am a US10.5 in quoddy suede chukka( those j crew colabs). What size should i get on the bluchers?

Just got my shoes back from Quoddy. I got them resoled with the Vibram soles(originally had the crepe soles). I am very pleased with the work and to top it off they threw in an extra set of laces, a new shoe bag and new insoles. They were a pleasure to deal with and they were a class act to say the very least!

I've decided that having size 13 feet is the perfect equilibrium - not so big that they're hard to find, but big enough that they're often the last size on clearance. For example, I just picked up the last pair of muleskinner deck chukkas from the Stuart & Wright clearance sale for $160.

Friends, can someone who knows tell me if this chukka is made of Chromexcel leather or another leather? It doesn't look like chromexcel as it doesn't have that shine that other for-sure chromexcel shoes do. Also, I don't know if there is chromexcel in that colour. Does someone know?
