I picked up these socks yesterday at Khaki's Menswear of Carmel to wear on Christmas day. Cashmere. The pattern is called "Weekend in Oslo" by Marcolianai.

They also had these in red if anyone is interested...

this is beautiful, and it hurts as a reminder that my westfields do not fit. and i really cant buy them in my right size until i sell the ill fitting ones.

Khaki's of Carmel is one of my top favorite menswear stores in the entire US. The staff and especially Jim Ockert, the owner, are all great guys with a helpful, no presure style. But the best part is the amazing assortment of colors, patterns and styles that they carry that I can't find in SF, LA or even NYC. Most stores have a safe, edited look. These guys clearly aren't afraid to take chances with emerging brands or new looks. I took a lot of photos and will be writing more about the store and Jim on my blog abitofcolor. I actually think Jim is one of the most interesting guys in the retail side of menswear. Even after 25+ years he is passionate about talking about clothes, cool fits, accessories, it is inspiring!
