I don't actually wear my shoes. They might get damaged! But seriously, don't you think wearing cashmere socks in everyday life would damage them more than just wearing them at home with slippers? I find them to be a luxury article, and I want to keep them for as long as possible. Edited by SHS - 12/4/12 at 6:19pm
How about red? Does anyone here wear red socks? Do you know the former french prime Minister wears red socks (recent scoop in the press)? How about you?
Here is the much awaited Bontonis, close guess stitchy
They appear to be grey but they have a more navy shade to them. They are best of both kinda navy kinda grey. I saw them when I went for the Bontoni trunk show and they never left my mind. Hopefully if weather cooperates I will be wearing them in the next few days
nephew,
great birthday present
wear in good health
Wearing a blue shirt with grey pants so I wanted to add a bit of coordinated color down below.....
Perhaps my favorite all around brand of wool socks is Marcoliano. They made these and also have them with pin dots, which due to their small scale go with just about anything. http://www.marcoliani.it/
nephew,
i second the marcoliani merino wool socks. good looking socks
Patek - nice combo and those Falkirks are going to be even better in a year or two.
Justin - your birfday Bontonis are super sweet - especially since they came from your Mamma
Stitchy - you suck! (kidding dude - just kidding) you know blue and brown always equals a WIN!
PocketsquareGuy - you have such incredibly tasteful and expensive socks. You never miss, do you ?
Sstomcat - Thanks for the smile!
Shoes - C&J
Socks - Pantherella
Trou - KC
Since the weather is just like summer/spring I'm bringing back the summery attire for a day.
nephew,
how does that happen? is it like alden with various kinds of lasts
sort of. The last is much longer than my other bontonis. Also because it is suede I figured to size down a 1/2 size as suede stretches more. But I need comfort more so I am going to size up and see if that helps
