It's becuase of SF doesn't like black?

not everyone fits into that category.

Just curious what brand are they if they are not endorsed on SF?

That's no secret... they are Church's.

Very good shoes IMHO, not that refined like other brands loved and nurtured around here.

All my Church's are calf, not corrected grain and they take a pretty good shine.

And black is a matter of personal choice; I like black shoes.

Oh okay, I agree with you black, at the very least, is not as bad as people make it out to be here. It seems black suits, black shoes, black coats, black pants, black socks are all anti SF lol. But I think some black in one's rotation is just fine. I am still not a fan of any other black stuff but black shoes are good if you have a decent amount of other shoe colors. That way it definitely won't be boring. Just my opinion though.

Nothing wrong with black shoes. Black shirts, on the other hand, almost always look terrible.
