Perhaps others will chime in.

good for you.

My feet, and probably most of other people's swell sometimes (I'm not a diabetic neither have I the gout...).

As far as I know it is a natural phenomenon and at least in my case, sometimes when they are swell the size differential is quite significant.

Mine swell a good bit on a long international flights. Can barely get my loafers back on at landing time. Other than that no worries for me. But everyone is different. I grew up on tightly laced leather shoes. As during my childhood it was believed that such was essential to the development of the foot. Perhaps I am just used to tightly laced shoes

Can someone recommend some thin socks for small feet (US7), purchasable on-line?

Viccel.

Don't they take forever to ship?

Pantherella via woods of shropshire - look for the fine guage.

They fit my size 8 feet just fine - don't know how they'll do with size 7s.

Thanks- i'll check that out. I typically come across Pantherella at the local stores, but I've never found them in size S. They're always Medium...frown.gif I need a small.

I've never seen them in small either, sorry.

Must be a beast finding socks - have you tried just washing them warm, rinsing them cold, and drying the heck out of them? That ought to reduce the size!

I've tried something like that, but they never really shrink in the correct places for a good fit. The heel portion ends up being at my Achilles tendon, lol. I've just been overpaying like crazy at Zegna because they actually make "S" with nice materials confused.gif

The smallest size Viccel offers (regular I believe) is small as heck.
