Thanks. Question for Pantherella folks: size 10D US shoes...regular or large socks? I've bought large only so far and they fit me well I'd say. Though a seller here is selling some regular Pantherella socks in interesting designs so I was wondering if it would be a good idea to basically be fitting into two different sizes? If the regular are only a touch smaller I think they will fit me fine...

So, my first ever "real" shoes as I was a Ferragamo guy and did not know any better. I actually came to SF for help in finding a good pair of shoes. SF recommended C&J. In ended up going hand grade on the 337 last (I forgot the model name) in chestnut. Many on here think that chestnut is too wild with navy, but it is my favorite combo. Some also find them too red, I use burgundy shoe cream and polish to bring that out and make them pop.

So, exactly two years and 2500 posts later I present my first SF purchase appropriately paired with a RLBL DB suit that I purchased on SF B&S and a pair of cashmere socks form Pantherella which I also learned about here and kept my toes warm as I stood in line to vote this morning. Shoes still look good considering they are two years old and I had almost no rotation when I purchased them.

great combo, and a great shoe. really good choice. simple punch cap on a versatile not too aggressive last. well done.

now you need something like like that in black, a brown oxford, and some suede. devil.gif

Have you been following my posts? I have plenty of rotation now but do try to mix it up a bit and do not have it in black. This is my only pair of "branded" C&J shoes as I ave 5 C&J for RL and 4 C&J for BB. Most of my "branded" shoes these days are EG as they fit me best but I am attempting to branch out into Carmina.
