Shoes are from Gaziano & Girling. If you're Stateside, you can easily deal with them directly like I do, or try some of the reputable retailers like Skoaktiebolaget, Leffot or ask some of your Stateside SF compatriots for recommendations. Hope that helps!

Yes, thanks so much. I was able to find your socks and shoes. The shoes are St James II. Absolutely beautiful. 😁

Hey - question?  I know most you all have lots of awesome shoes, boots and socks.  It obvious your looking at quality and style.  I must say that all I have seen so far are beautiful and so well maintained, which is why I'm looking to move into this direction.  Probably more on the casual to business casual side but really love the look.

1) If you look back to when you first stated what was your first pair of great quality shoes and boots?

2) Now that you have more insight and knowledge about the brands, quality and maintenance what brand and style would you recommend to a guy just getting on the boat.  I'd like a pair of shoes and boots that could be worn casual, as well as dress them up if needed.

3) Any guy could also use an nice pair of dress shoes when that need comes up.   Something that could be worn with multiple color slacks.

4) Love the socks too......socks can make a huge different in the look of the shoes!

Thanks guys!!  I am hooked on this site as you can tell.

I’d go for a black capetoe oxford. That’s the right one for nearly every formal occasion.

There’s not really a color or shoe type which is correct for formal and informal occasions. Therefore I’d go for a second pair.

Regarding brands/makers, I’m personally a big fan from English shoe makers, but that’s just personal taste.

Grey throusers, black monks and grey & black houndstooth socks

Best

Hey all. Got to admit that I like the looks of all the pointed toe shoes here but how do your feet and toes feel when you take your shoes off? Just curious. Mainly wear square toe boots here. Love the shoes I'm seeing. 😋

Like a second skin after been broken in, which can be a bit painful. The longer you wear’em the more comfortable they are.
