ymmv, but its a very dressy shoe imho, and the rumply cotton would be more suite for bucks or boots and an even rounder last.

you should have had your way with her, and then explained that while blue and burgundy is excellent, you should have been wearing dress trousers with those shoes. teacha.gif

I try to shine my shoes as minimally as possible. I think it does the leather more harm than good.

But the toe cap gets a high shine maybe once a month.

In the words of Monty Python "now for something completely different"
Lobb Cordoba model featuring wild boar leather.
The shoelaces are 4 times too long so I tucked them in, tacky I know! shog[1].gif

This evening

Really interesting discussion re formality of Dub Monks which I think influenced my decision to wear these this evening.

The C & J Lowndes 2 worn today I see as borderline really depending on what they're teamed up with. I last wore those strides with C & J Monkton snuff suede and see the Lowndes 2 as next up the scale. Put em with smarter strides and no issue but then I get conscious of rounded toe and double sole, though they carry it off.

Those ^, to me are next up again on a formality scale all day and v suit worthy YMMV

Thanks gents

Thanks, I'm kinda Jekyll and Hyde on these shoes. Some days I want to sell them and some days I don't. They are unique, like the colors but I'm not sure about the bias cut toe. Comments are welcome, be honest, I can take it. crazy.gif
