Justin - love it.

G-fawce: got to hate on the no-socks a bit.  Unhygienic, unseemly and unmanly in my book!  But in this instance, it does at least make more sense than the muppets trying to look like Ryan Gosling in a three piece DB chalk stripe and ******* flip flops.  Not that I feel strongly about it or anything.  Anyway, those are some damned attractive loafers.  Are they navy?  The contrasting natural welt works great.

I'm in a foul mood today and that is reflected in my choice of attire - I entitle my entire ensemble today 'BITE ME'! :stirpot: If you don't like my ankles then don't look at them!

As for the shoes - yes - navy - thin soled moccasin construction - available for about 160 Euro on the Carmina web store. Not your normal Carmina construction and that is reflected in the lower price.

I recommend that you wear them without socks!

Yes - quite nice out - the last gasps of summer.
Thank you - I'll be sure to pass your approval along to Mimo - who obviously doesn't know how to wear loafers properly! :slapfight: :D

looks cool man..

Jawja: after my elephant shirt/shark shoes outburst last week, I can only sympathise with the "bite me" philosophy. And if anything can work with this sockless horror, light-soled blue loafers is probably it (at that price, I'm tempted too!). But I shall maintain my sock-wearing standards. Until I don't. At which point, "bite me". Incidentally, where do you stand on the invisible socks compromise? I'm guessing go sockless or don't, but pretending is effeminate? Correct me if I'm wrong!

McArthur: I am delighted to see that you have returned to sock-wearing, even in your recent loafer picture. And the NSTs are beautiful by the way.

SST: please don't encourage him. But they are nice loafers.

I prefer full on 'commando' to going half way.

Those half sock thingies remind of 'ankle hose' that my mother used to wear. No go for me. Tried a pair once - threw them out later the same day.

Those shark shoes of yours ruled - the shirt - well let's just say some things are better left unworn, shall we? Oh, and about the 'hand gestures' - your mother would NOT be proud of you young man!
