Rock Your Socks- show your sock, shoe & pant combos - Page 898

the simpson last is damn near perfect, and at their price-point (500 +/- for non shell), they are pretty much tops. imo.

What IS their price point?
$450-550 for calf. $750+ for shell.
Ah, I thought they were more than that. I thought they were more in-line with C&J handgrade.

325-400 Euros for calf and up to 600 for shell boots. MTO puts 50% on top
post #13461 of 19978
Wait, they charge 50% more for MTO?

When I last checked. Probably why there are so many group purchases-6 orders gets you the MTO fee free
post #13463 of 19978
Well, if they cost 50% more to do a MTO than I think they enter not a good deal territory. Even higher end shoes cost like ~$150 more for MTO. Some don't even charge anything. I think if you are paying $500 for a shoe you should be buying Vass. Far superior than Carmina as far as the look of the leather and construction is better also.

I've never paid more for mto, always done a group buy. Its an absurd fee.. Will try vass shortly.

You can get Vass for $500?

You can get Vass for like $600 and they are eons above Carmina.

Sutor, DiBianco, Vass, where are some online shops for these? I know of very few. I'd look at a few if I knew where to go.

It's hard to stray from Carmina when the Simpson last fits so perfectly to my foot.
