Speaking of loafers I would like your opinion on the Allen Edmonds Walden in black.
I am looking for something to rock with light colored pants or chinos. 
Only thing holding me back is that they are corrected grain and will not age well. 
Anything you guys can recommend that will not brake the $300 line? Preference for AE

It's supposed to be my weekend but just got bounced into a "casual" business dinner.  Slippers upgraded to monks and a velvet sports jacket thrown on...but the pink socks stay!
