If you live on the coast argyle is mainstream, not old. That jumper's a bit weak, no real style in it for me.

I received a black Brooks merino polo collar sweater (3-button) as a gift in a medium size. I wore it once and then noticed it was made in China. Snob that I am, I haven't worn it since. If you want it, jn3, in recognition of your many posts on the forum (ha) gratis, pm me. I always give things away at Christmas-it's entertaining.

I personally like argyle, although it is "in" currently so there are quite a few people sporting argyle, especially in LA. I have a couple argyle sweaters, mostly in blues/greys/blacks, fairly conservative colors. I think an argyle sweater can look pretty good under a navy blazer.
