I have heard some buzz about this gym lately. The only way that someone can workout there is by purchasing sessions with a trainer I believe 12 sessions start at $1200 is any one here a member? They have 3 locations all of which are in nyc. Just wanted to know its as great of a place that they make it sound.

Initial Impressions I ordered Taylor Stitch's 10 oz indigo Cone Mills Flatout shirt (http://taylorstitch.com/products/indigo-cone-flatout). The denim shirts come in three colors: Indigo in 10...

This was a gift from my boss. I kept it for a few months before I just sold it. It is pretty solid. Made in USA. You can't beat the quality. If I needed a sterling silver money clip I would buy a...

I just picked this up and I am pretty pleased. Just what I expected. I am pleased with the Bark. However, I wish it was a little darker. A great deal for $35. Comparable to other belts in the...

Call them up and schedule a tour. If they won't let you, then they're fucking worthless and don't deserve a single patron.
And they are most likely trying to take you for a ride and the 12 personal training sessions you have to purchase are most likely not refundable.
But if you take a tour and like what you see the $1200 spent can be a surefire way to kick-start a great program and might be well spent if the trainers know what they are doing.

No offense meant to Eason, but most personal trainers I see in gyms are kind of a joke. I very very rarely see a personal trainer showing their client how to do deads or squats. Usually it's something fancy shmancy, not one of the core compound exercises. There are good trainers out there (I had one for a while - but it was someone very well known in the BB community), but I am extremely hesitant about getting a random trainer at a gym. It's also so extremely expensive compared to the knowledge you can get on your own online. Just my $.02.

You are right about most personal trainers. There are some great ones out there you just have to look. Just because they are wearing a NYSC shirt it doesnt mean they know shit.
