Sizing question for J&M Hamndmades.

This is really a question for all those who have bought both J&M Handmades and Grensons from Bennies. l'm a Grenson (bennies) size 7.5 (originally intended for Cordonnerie Anglaise PARIS), what size J&M [Handmade] is best for me? Would a size 8E J&M Handmade fit me o.k? (Note; the size 7.5 Grenson E width would be better fitting if it was a D width. Therefore, my feet are wide but not too wide).

My 10D in the Handmades and Grensons fit just the same. Both in USA sizes. I am puzzled as to sizing you have. Why would an English shoemaker put a USA size on a shoe made by it to be sold in a French store? Seems as it would not, but many French stores sell English (and even French made) shoes with UK sizing, The Aubercys i just bought in Paris with ernest were 9.5E, English sizing. Weston (French) shoes sold in the US carry UK sizing, usually. Is your 7.5E Grenson in USA or UK sizing? If it is UK, you probably need a 8C or 8.5C J&M Handmade.
