I'm simply saying that many people go to a place during RW expecting to experience that restaurant 'as it is' every other week of the year, and it's rarely anything like that. I have no issue at all with price levels, or how restaurants choose to approach RW... Ah OK gotcha. However, this is the restaurants' fault. They don't advertise "come to restaurant week, we'll serve you a sub-par meal", the whole event is marketed as an opportunity to sample the greatness of NY's finest restaurants for a lower price for a special week. False advertising and people falling for it are inevatibly disappointed and whine about it.
