Greetings from sunny Costa Rica.

After reading a few threads, I wanted to introduce myself to this community. I look forward to sharing ideas with other forum members and have read many good suggestions.

Being a CEO, I am expected to look my best and set a good example for others. If you look sharp, you act and sound sharp. It seems to have worked quite well.

Best regards,

Richard

Guanacaste always gets sun but I was referring to the rain we get every single afternoon here in SJ.

I always think of this...One rainy day here equals 5 days of sun back in Philadelphia.

I can't complain, I live in paradise.

Costa Rica's a beautiful place, you and whodini are lucky. I remember Rohrmoser being a pretty nice neighborhood, the one time I was there when I was a kid.

To be honest, I don't understand the hype costa rica gets.

If I'm not mistaken, you stuck up around Guanacaste, right? Yeah...That would explain it.

Good memory! Yes, my family has a house in Playa Hermosa and some property in Arenal. It's obviously a beautiful country but I prefer the feel of Hawaii simply because it's more developed.

Arenal is the place to be.

Some view development as a curse, I know I sure do. Jaco used to a sleepy surf community and now it's being marketed as the new Acapulco... To this day my favorite spot in the country is Manuel Antonio because it really has it all; development when you want it and untouched beauty when you need it. But I'll try not to be offended by you generalizing an entire country, one that I happen to be a citizen of, based on your experience of an area roughly the size of Los Angeles county.
