Leather Jackets: Post Pictures of the Best You've Seen/Owned?

The accessories are decent, and the finish in terms of stitching and seams is not bad.. more importantly, they had a tall size that benefitted me greatly..the second is a custom RRL that was custom for an NBA player who passed on it.. picked up on a really good deal in NY 8 years ago..the third is a Schott that I have had for 18 years and saw me through many winter storms back in my old hood in Bmore and the last is a suede piece from The Kooples (I had it tailored at the sides a smidge)..

The Schott has been through snow storms, sleigh rides, and a lot of exposure to the elements.. funny enough I was more into urban wear when my sister purchased this for me.. I had a favorite Avirex jacket that I had been wearing prior since the 90s and did not want to make that switch.. but when I did, there was no looking back..funny enough in my single years, I remember being at a gentleman club and one of the dancers tried to sway me into giving her the jacket.. I was like hell naaaaaaaaa lol

The Schott surprises me. I wear a medium in Schott, and the sleeves fit between just right and just a tiny bit short on me (in a roughout and a Horween horsehide jacket of the same double rider model, respectively. And I just have a 73" wingspan.

For anybody that owned the earlier Margiela 5 zips (99 to early 2000s or whenever the mrs zips stopped) and the later versions (2006? going forward), were there any marked differences in the weight or thickness of the leather? I'm used to leather on the heavier side and only have handled a few 5 zips that were made 2010 onwards. I always felt they were on the lighter side. I'm just wondering if those really early versions used heavier leather.

The really early versions were quite thick - I mean, about 2001, iirc, was the first time I handled one, and while it was not Aero thick, it was closer to Schott thick and heavy. I own a wine colored one from maybe 8 years after that, and it was medium weight, but definitely not lightweight. The weight varied from year to year.
