I think it depends on what you want. The FCL is a really good version of a fairly common cafe racer design. The Butterscotch Addict is the best version of the "cafecto" hybrid, so it's more unique to me and bolder, especially w/ the D pocket.

This is a great point. I think that’s where my dilemma is: Going for something more lowkey or something more bold. And then there’s the added dilemma of the FCLxSExGA collab on the horizon. A collab from those three companies will surely not disappoint.
I’m gonna try to visit Butterscotch this weekend to check out the cafecto.

Let us know how the arms fit. They seem a little short.

Butterscotch Addict...
Hmmmm. Another place I didn't know about that's super close to my house.
Maybe I'll pop by and score something awesome off the clearance rack.

Fit is so good. Worth the wait.

I read your review this a.m. It is a great jacket! Really unique as well, in terms of the construction of it. Compared to my Eric, it is about half of the weight.

gonna try that on tomorrow at SE

I'm interested to hear your opinions on it!

I like how the bottom of the bib and the bottom of the seed packet line up.

Wow, I didn't even notice that... I'm kind of impressed.

@Newcomer @d4nimal ok guys so I checked out the FCL Roberts and I wasn’t a big fan of it IRL TBH.

1. leather and liner felt very thin to me. I understand it’s a lighter jacket but for comparison my IH is heavier and I dig that.

2. the body felt like I was wearing a tube, the jacket was very tight in size 38 around my shoulder and chest but body felt loose. The size 40 I sank in.

overall it’s a nice jacket but not one I was yearning for.

TBH it would of just hung in my closet.

please enjoy your purchases gentlemen and take my comments with a grain of salt. For me the fit is the main issue, looks wise jacket was great.

One last thing, I do have a RO intarsia which has a similar paneling so I can be totally content with that and the IH as my motos.

Jokes on you for not having a tube-shaped body like us.

What’s the weight of FCL jackets? 2.5-3oz, depending on the model?
