Leather Jackets: Post Pictures of the Best You've Seen/Owned? - Page 623

Any recommendations in Columbus, OH to check out RO leathers? Not sure of any high end boutiques here - Brigade is the best in mind. There's a Saks here, maybe they have some...but it wouldn't be past seasons, right? How do you guys go about checking out previous years' leathers?

don't know about stores where you live but yoox, gilt, myhabit and others with good return policies are useful for handling past season stuff.

It was SLP/YSL who made that minimalistic double-rider last season right?
Tried it on in London, have never felt so cool before

You mean this?

It is carried over every season. Fits me quite well but I don't need a new leather jacket, not big on SLP and it is quite pricey, although in no way cheaply constructed. Leather doesn't look that tough though.

It was even simpler, no buttons on lapels and fewer details overall(zippers/pockets/buttons).

But actually just realized it can't have been ysl.

In Selfridges on the first floor, in the area where the YSL-store is, you have to walk around a "hole" in the ground (where you can see down to the bottom floor) and the store where I tried on this jacket was on the opposite side of this "hole", might have been Dior? Anyway the two "stores" were quite similarly designed (metal, glass, black) so that's probably why I mixed them up.

edit: it must have been Prada (or possibly Gucci, though I doubt it) since I remember the same brand having a store near the entrance in Westfield London

I like this season new SLP biker better than the permanent collection one.

Arw stop posting those pics. I'm so close to pay retail for this shit. Really way too much into SLP stuff atm. I tried on couple of things including jeans and shirts and everything fits so great and suits me so well, too bad prices are crazy, 400$ tees, 500$ cotton hoodies, damn.

The SLP leather I posted was just 30% off at MrPorter a week or so ago.

This is the newest from Burberry, the same price as SLP:

I wish they didn't have those silver metal snaps on the belt loops (both the Burberry and the SLP).

But I'm not a big fan of belts on leather to begin with, though I'm sure that's blasphemy to some.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

It adds some of the ruggedness needed with biker jackets.

So hard to justify 4k moto jackets...when there is ToJ out there especially if we aren't talking about exotic leathers. Although, hard to justify a lot of SLP pricing these days...a new day for hedi in the marketplace.
