Yea its a big range but still he created it. and nothing really... there cuts are crappy for skinny guys though, and there is a lot better out there.

One more pic of my 5-zip now that it's broken in a little bit, very happy with the a "simple" leather after Rick, Incarnation, Attachment, etc.

Excuse the serious face, forgot to blur it out

Happy birffday

Thanks for the info so far guys. I know 500-1000 is a big range but I'm just in the beginning stages of looking around. Now I'm debating between black and brown, lamb/goat/calf, etc.

But from the pics I really like the look of the moto. I will most likely go with 2 zip and not the beloved 4 zip.

Why I recommended to just spent $1000 is because you made that your price range and if your willing to spend more why not spend it? Since youll probably have the jacket for a very long time. I made the mistake of buying a Schott when I wanted a 5-zip more then any leather or garment and even though black ones in 48 are extremely rare, that aside I was impatient about looking and had the money and wanted a leather jacket for this season "when I could actually wear it". 2 weeks later after I bought the Schott I regretted it, and seen a 5-zip and bought that. Just try to purchase what you want and dont settle for less because youll probably end up regretting it.

I recommend looking through yoox lots of nice Rick leathers and black friday is coming up. Also stylezeitgeiat forums have a ton of nice leathers, for good prices too.

NN, your 5-zip pics (and Drew's, I guess) are the only ones that ever make me wish I had one of those. But they really make me wish I had one of those.

@einstine its not schott thats was the issue, it was you settling. I recommend when giving advice to state something like that rather than allude to it. For example, i went for a TOJ moto after extensive research and it was not a settle for me. I did want a MMM 5 zip at the time as well. However, after handing several mmm pieces (fw12/fw13) i realized that i just don't like the recent quality of the jacket. The TOJ on the other hand was exactly what I wanted... a thick heavy moto leather jacket.
