That is a horrible picture of that jacket.

Also, I don't like the ribbed cuffs.

Anyone tried on this bad boy from RO (Combo Jacket)?
Curious to know if it is as impractical as it looks. . .

Looks ridiculous bordering on stupid IRL. Heard that collar called Mollino, Safari, etc. Like most fencing style necks, looks great zipped, dumb unzipped. Best I've seen it worn is Pusha T and it still looks bad. (0). Bonus appearance for TB shirt and sweats, and what I'm told is a Rick MA-1.

Assuming the link didn't work,

Whatever brand the brown one is, it looks horrible.

It's like a Tron suit without the neon lights.

Love it. Would love it with a white shirt and white tie.
Scuba swag
That looks pretty awesome.
I gotta agree with you reedo, it does look a little "Deep Sea Metrosexual".

I must admit I like it more and more every time I look at it. The 'patchwork' of different materials has me worried though.
From the product description: Rick Owens's Mollino-style jacket shape intricately constructed from a combination of materials: calfskin through the front of the body, blistered lambskin along the shoulders and sleeves, cotton denim at the lower portion of the back, cotton jersey on the upper back, and cotton ribbing on the inner sleeve panel for stretch to allow for a slim fit through the arms. All materials are in a stark tonal black shade.
How well will something like that hold up?

Let me preface by saying I am going through this thread starting from page 1. Just figured I'd throw the question out there for now.

Can someone tell me what brand/style this leather jacket is or find something nearly identical? This jacket is perfect, it has everything I'm looking for:

-no woven material at the cuffs/collar/hem
-no zipper pockets and not many pockets
-has the 'tab' thing I like at the collar

The hood is not part of the jacket, he is wearing another separate hoodie/jacket inside. However, I wouldn't mind a hooded leather jacket so if you guys know any of those with the above criteria they would be most welcome.

Thanks in advance.

That jacket looks like a pretty generic moto that you can find anywhere. If you want a quality one, try TOJ.

As for hooded leather jackets.. here are a couple I think are kinda nice (and way too expensive). Although they are more akin to leather hoodies than jackets IMO

(japanese brand "wjk")

(japanese brand "az")
