Leather Jackets: Post Pictures of the Best You've Seen/Owned? - Page 589

The Schott I ordered came in early, fits like a fucking glove.
Going to make it matte black. With rubbing it down with some rubbing alcohol to remove the shine, then with some leather honey to re-moisture it from the alcohol.

are you sure rubbing leather with alcohol is a good idea?

def an interesting one, not even sure what a matte leather jacket would look like. could be great, could be atrocious...kinda like matte in general

Im hopping I will be able to make it like this. Removing the shine of leather jackets seem to be pretty common on the web, lots of DIY guides out there. Ill post pictures of it them, not sure when ill go about doing it.

i am not a fan of DIY outcomes and i'd recommend just taking the jacket to a cobbler and finding out what they can do
post #8830 of 12857

Don't do it einstine.

Why not do it?

Just research a bit and buy the appropriate products.

I took my 5-zip to a cobbler to get it vibrammed. Turned out really well. I'll post pics later.
