Seriously . . .

It's people like you who spread this almost made to sound like "fact", that ALL Rick leather has gone to crap, sick of hearing it.

Each season has its strong and weak leathers, hell not even just Rick, I am sure many other designers are not always 100% consistent on providing "quality"

It's like saying for example, Balmain leather jackets or biker jeans of today is pathetic compared to years ago when Decarnin was designer, yet people still buy into it.

Or Margiela is now on the whole is crap, as he hasn't been there for a long time, yet people still buy the 5 zips and GATs

And I honestly doubt you have handled every single Rick leather each season and that is the TRUTH.

What makes the older Rick Owens leathers better quality? thickness, durability? I've heard that a lot but had recent season ones and one from 08-09 and haven't noticed a significant difference. I've found that lower quality leather has a plastic, thin or rubber feel to it, but none of the 4 RO leathers I've handled were like that.

my 54 fits me perfectly

i am alluding to the fact that the guy keeps talking about RO and wrote a post on how he has experience with balmain which is great but doesn't mean he has exp. with RO...

if KUNK writes a post about RO, i'd listen a bit more...

NO^, the real funny part is you not understanding the whole idea of what my post was on about, and the general discussion, you are missing the whole point facepalm.gif

OJ still talks out of his arse anyway.

Commenting on Rick with no substance to back it up and even if there is some truth behind it, I think I'd like to still try the leather out myself thank you very much, or maybe ask several people on SZ.

I just used random designers and Balmain came to mind cause I was just selling couple of items and funny enough it just so happens that you are also a guru of this brand as well.

Regardless^, I could of used the reference to anything random, eg protein powder from brand ON or wheelbarrows from bunnings, Mcdonalds cheeseburgers, toilet seats, urinal cakes, whatever, anything, it's not really the point.

But maybe I should thank you, it's people like you who keep spreading false information, more items reach sales icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Let's simplify it for you OJ, your Conclusion:

Anyone who bought a rick leather after 2010 is a moron.

Ask OJ about quality as he knows what it's all about dawg.

He owns some Balmain pieces so he KNOWs what true quality is.

Most importantly he always tells the "facts", so pay attention to his posts

Can't wait. lurker[1].gif
