Yeah $5k is ridiculous but leather sleeves is better though.

maybe unpopular opinion but it looks really cheap and pretty boring

What has Styleforum come to when Rick leathers are boring
post #8061 of 15782

The bauhaus version is better but how does that look cheap?

It's hard to quantify ... something about the wobbly zipper, the texture of the leather, and the rather thin "tufts" of fur make it look like ... well, much less than a $5000 jacket.

While I wouldn't argue that this Incarnation looks better (though in my opinion, it does), I'd say it certainly looks more luxurious.

Brad no one buys Rick for quality

Also incarnation ranges from nice to lulzy level awful

The asymmetric shearling does look a bit better.

both shearling jackets look cool if you are into that but at 5k price points it is a WTF
post #8066 of 15782

Is rick quality really that bad? I feel like that's an internet thing, all 4 jackets I've handled were really, really nice.

rick quality is fine, everyone is questioning the 5k price point!
what is it with rick jackets and wobbly zippers?
What do you mean by wobbly zippers?
i think it's a function of the zipper tape he uses. it's kind of soft.
