The electric blue that Attachment sometimes uses for leathers is a great blue. Was crushed when I couldn't pull off size 3s at the Daikanyama boutique

I want one of those and/or a green/blue/grey textured looking blue. Like this one waxed Devoa jacket that was posted either here or SZ awhile back that thing is amazing.

Just got in a margiela 5-zip, how does the sizing look?

Its a 52 and I'm 6'3 and about 182 lbs. I heard they run small but it feels a tiny bit big

Thats what most models my size on the internet seem to be rocking ( mr.porter and tres bien shop for example)

it might end up being to tight on the shoulder and chest but fine at the stomach which would make you look fat as opposed to lean and inshape in yer current styling. or it might be perfect (im skeptical). its a risk! if u can kop a 48 to check the sizing with free returns do that!

When I said I find the 5zip fits big, I meant in general not on you. I think the 52 fits fine to be honest, maybe slightly wider in the shoulder but it seems spot on since the 5zip has a boxier silhouette. Going two sizes down to a 48 will definitely be too small. Id give the 50 a try though, maybe even a 48. When it comes to clothing, if you have easy access to the clothes or have the time, id suggest trying on every size possible til you find the fit that you like.

5 zip looks good to me. As RFX45 said, It has a regular / boxy fit and not supposed to fit like Rick Owens or some japanese leathers.

Just ordered a 5-zip myself.. this one which is in lambskin, instead of their usual calf. It was 50% off, which seemed like a moderate bargain, but still 884 euros after shipping..

I wasn't able to find it... What brand is this from? Simple and very nice. Why would ToJ be a better option? Nicer leather?

 

No it doesn't, unless it's an old one which that isn't.  Fit looks good from here but it's hard to tell from a mirror pic, I'd try the 50 if you can.

There's a few reasons why I think going Toj would be better on such a generic design, mostly to do with the ability to customize the color and fit and the price. I don't know the exact price of this Attachment jacket, but if history is an indicator it will be at least ¥120,000 – a fair bit more than a Toj jacket. And while Attachment quality is great, so is Toj. So as much as I love Attachment, it's hard to recommend it for such a generic design.

how high is the armhole on your toj, brad? if they're high, but not super high, that may be one thing that sets the attachment apart from the toj
