I agree. It doesn't look like they've thought about the fit in the shoulders at all. And if that's how it looks on a slim Asian model, there's no way it's going to work with the even slim Europeans or North Americans (who tend to be wider in the shoulders)...

I wanna say that it looks a size too big, but it seems fine through the waist and hips ... hm.

I think it can work with or without, good thing that it is removable.

i handled some BV leather before. The leather seems OK but not amazing IMO. Price usually 4500-6000 depends on the model. I'd suggest you buying Lanvin or Dior for that price.

I also love leather jacket but season does matter to me. And it's time to wear leather jackets. Lot of leather jackets i have in my wardrobe but I will still buy a new one..

haha styleforum uses TOJ as sort of a metric for evaluating outerwear "hmm i could get that thom brown or i could get 7 toj's" or "this all saints is like half a toj!" i use the first gen NSX in a similar fashion when comparing prices of cars. "i could buy this 2013 euroshitbox or i could buy _____ condition NSX!"

On the sound advice of this forum, I decided to buy the Rick Owens Stooges in black (as opposed to grey / dust). Ordered it today, looking forward to receiving it! I will post photos when it arrives.

I feel like the Stooges will be what I wear every day... I don't want to make that grey leather my daily jacket.

Of course, I still want to buy the high-neck Intarsia... But what I should really stop doing is buying leather jackets for a few minutes. smile.gif

YSL.  It can be yours on Mr. Porter for a mere $4,550.

Tried that jacket on at Barneys, it feels great but very light, the leather is thin but not Rick Owens thin where it feels cheap and paper-like. It's nice but not $4500 nice.

I tried this Balenciaga on too with the tweed collar and I prefer it over the YSL, just feels much more substantial.
