So many designers ruin really nice jackets with overembellishments.  That stupid pocket kills this for me.

Not sure if I should ask in here or not. But I'm getting a Schott Perfecto soon, not sure which one to get though. I want to stay away from a boxy look
Which would be the better option between the 618 and 613? Or any other version that would be a better fit

Agreed, I also don't care for double rider's with fur collars, unless the lapels were also lined in fur.

So, can anyone explain what happened with the new RO leathers sleeves wise? Is it just a zipper to let out more material but doesn't go to the cuff? Hard to tell in pics.

Tried on the 46 in 5zip and as suspected it was too big. Was told the 44 was in-store but once I got there it was gone. ffffuuuu.gif

sucks,

what are your thoughts in terms of quality compared to sf favorites like TOJ/RO/etc

Quality is pretty good. I say it's comparable if not slightly better than my ToJs but it really is hard to say until the 5zip has been through some wears. Also keep in mind that my ToJ experience is limited to lamb while the 5zip is bovine and feels like a less stiff version of calf so that might make a difference too. It definitely feels better than most of ROs current offerings.

thanks, i decided to do TOJ moto because the $1500 price point for MMM just didnt feel right and i liked the TOJ zippers biggrin.gif

heh, it will likely just end up on supermarket/sz classifieds/sw&d buy-sell in a couple of months. although to its credit, it's a size 50 this time :D

Ha, just realized it´s not leather  peepwall[1].gif   Saw it was biker style didn´t even noticed that. Still a really cool jacket.... Now I understand why the price was so tempting.

Nothing really beats ToJ in quality to price ratio so I think you made the right choice unless it is a certain style that ToJ doesn't offer is what you want.

it is, i want that 5zip as well, but atm i am happy with TOJ, also the TOJ guys were super cool to work with
